Recently I been starting out working in After Effects. I must say its an incredible program. I've been learning how to use it through Video CoPilot which is a great source for learning everything After Effects related. But this is something I made with some help from some of the tutorials at VCP.

Newest AIP Student

I am finally at Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Pretty cool school and Facility. I must say they have all the latest software and computers. Teachers seem to know what they are talking about too. The only gripe about this school is the dorms. Ah man, not what I expected at all. These students are soooooooooooooooooooo different from me. Feel like a loner. Kids are a tad bit strange. But once I get my computer hooked up and I get my new room (smoke free), I should be okay. Also if anyone reads this and goes to AIP, drop me a line, maybe we can talk 3D and trade tips lol. That would be cool. Oh Also this city is soooooooooooo boring. Nothing to do at all. Everything closes at 7. What kinda city is that. Nothing beats good ol' New York. Can't wait to get back, I miss my girlfriend =( . But we'll be okay. But yea if any AIP students want to chill who are into Animation or Interactive Media, send me a PM and we'll take it from there. Until then, Peace People.

College Yet again

I decided I want to goto AIP (Art Institute of Pittsburgh) . I think thats the best bet, not to expensive and I can still be pretty close to NYC and my Girlfriend (about 6 hours). Also It dosent have such a bad rep either. I'm going to be ultra focused and hopefully enjoy the college experience. Im drawing up a portfolio since its required for admission. I'll upload them up later. Have a good day everyone.

Character Modeling For Production

This DVD is Excellent, I'm completely impressed so far and I haven't even started the 2nd Chapter yet. Once I finish the DVD I'm going to create a character of my own using that work flow. Its a great work flow. Only thing is I think Ian is putting too much Detail on the base mesh. It could change since I'm only on the first chapter. But I think a lot of the detail can be done with Zbrush. Which I also love by the way. But thats enough for this post. I encourage everyone to go out and get it.
